Hello,

I'm having an issue getting X to work properly when installing openSUSE 10.2 on an iBook (G3-700). I run the graphical installation, which works just fine, and get through installation until the very last screen where it asks you to set the 'Hardware Configuration'. In the 'Graphics' section I notice that it recognizes the card (ATI Radeon), however, when I test the configuration the screen goes completely black. It comes back to the config screen after 30 seconds of it sitting idle. At first, I thought the problem was that it didn't recognize the screen type. But, I ran into the same problem even when I set the monitor to a low res generic one.

Can anybody help me with this?
