No Sound On Power Book G4 With Suse 10.1

Hi,

I have got Suse 10.1 working on my Powerbook Aluminium G4, but sound is not working.

The Kmix sound speaker in the bottom right panel shows a 'cross' and when opening the Kmixer, the sound card is not found.

Has anyone seen this?

Or even better, have a fix?

Appreciate any help.

Duing bootup, i get an error: 'unknown layout 40'

More detail: Also, I have booted up the Kbubuntu Dapper 6.06 Live cd on the machine and it plays sound.

I would use kubuntu, but the trackpad is very flaky!
