Will SuSE 10.x work on IBM 604e?

I've got an almost new IBM RS6000 B50 currently running AIX 5.1. In a few months the need for AIX will be history. As ALL my other servers are X86 running SuSE 9.3Pro I would like to migrate this rhino of a server to do some real web work. But, I'd like to keep things, i.e.: the config) as similar as possible. Does anyone know if and of the recent SuSE's will run on IBM's flavor of the PPC? I can't find anything relevant on IBM's site or in general but I was hoping someone here may have heard or know someone who???

At one time I tried SuSE 7.3 on a much older PPC601 model which didn't work out well enough to keep. But I like SuSE overall, hence my desire to continue with it on this box.

On the other hand, if it doesn't, then perhaps I should list it on eBay and replace it with an AMD Opteron or something similar....
