SuSE for ibook

sorry to bother you guys again.

I found a ibook version33.11 PPC G3 600MHZ Processor.

I wanted to install it with SuSE
(because I'm more at ease with Linux and the ibook is simply beautiful)
=> two beauties make a lot of

)
but I can only find advise for SuSE 7.3

do you have any subjestions???

I would like, changing to Yellow Dog Linux, be my last solution.
I'm really getting to like SuSE

Yellow Dog Linux, Ubuntu, and Gentoo seem to be the best options for Linux on the PPC. SuSE no longer maintains a current distribution for PPC machines. Give Ubuntu a shot...it's Gnome-based, but the next release will offer KDE as well.

hearing that suse's version is old, i feel better trying a different distrib..
please make a big fuss (Cnet or IT media) when suse update their PPC devision.

SuSE has an SLES version for IBM, it works on MAC's.

It was/is available for free download.
