sorry to bother you guys again.
I found a ibook version33.11 PPC G3 600MHZ Processor. I wanted to install it with SuSE (because I'm more at ease with Linux and the ibook is simply beautiful) => two beauties make a lot of )but I can only find advise for SuSE 7.3 do you have any subjestions??? I would like, changing to Yellow Dog Linux, be my last solution. I'm really getting to like SuSE ak |

Yellow Dog Linux, Ubuntu, and Gentoo seem to be the best options for Linux on the PPC. SuSE no longer maintains a current distribution for PPC machines. Give Ubuntu a shot...it's Gnome-based, but the next release will offer KDE as well.

hearing that suse's version is old, i feel better trying a different distrib.. please make a big fuss (Cnet or IT media) when suse update their PPC devision. sorry for the intrution earlier on. ak |

SuSE has an SLES version for IBM, it works on MAC's.
