installer fails to recognise ext Firewire HDD

Hi,
Just to let dev's users etc know, the Open Suse Beta for PPC failed to recognise our Hotec External Hard Disk Drive, in the partitioner. Only our internal Apple supplied SATA HDD was recognised.

BUT,, the installer and partitioner DID recognise the same WD ranchware 320 gig drive when cabeled as a USB external hdd. Strange !!!
