Anyway, its exciting to see some great commits get done yesterday., Theres a fix in for mac based dhcp reservation which I hope will fix my dhcp release problem.

Not sure when kde 4.0.5 will be added - kde 4 is super slick and bug fixes are welcome

They are package frozen I think, Which means no more updated programs unless they fix major bugs. Hence why firefox RC1 isn't in the repo's. Sucks that the repos are down. Most of the icons are in now and look pretty sweet.

I updates, restarted and everything worked, except my wireless connection ( RT61 ) After installing the drivers everything worked again.. So this is a update to GM or RC2?

Its because they changed the kernel....I had to redo my nvidia kernel module to retaint the factory kernel.

why stick with kde 4.0 at all? 4.0.4 / 4.0.5 it still is crappy as h*** imho. I think that 4.0.81 is far better, mature, feature complete and stable already. They call it KDE4.1 beta but then again the KDE team themselves declared that 4.0 was just a public beta of KDE4 as well so what is the difference?

the only thing I lost were the pretty slick customizations done by the opensuse developers. they made it look even better then it did at first, especially the task-manager/system tray/panel is done much better by opensuse then KDE itself and upgrading to 4.0.81 looses these patches making the system tray crappy again (especially for GTK apps or a resized panel).

I dont use pacman. Im 99% sure thats your problem. Pacman stuffs around with the config and messes up configuration items in my view.
