Hi,
I'm trying to configure OpenSUSE 11rc1 to use a MS ISA proxy server using YaST, I enter the ip address and the port, username and password and testing the proxy connection I always get HTTP 407 authentication required error. I have tried using the user as "user" and "domain\user" but both fail. The curious thing is that firefox works ok when specifying the proxy settings, but konqueror timeouts trying to contact the proxy. How can I configure OpenSUSE to use an ISA proxy server ? |

I've heard that some ISA proxy servers are set up not to use name and password passed in a HTTP request but use Windows domain authentication. But then I wouldn't have thought Firefox on Linux would have domain authentication in it. Then again, maybe it does seeing it's FF3beta. Sorry I don't know any more about ISA proxy servers.
