I have a small complaint with the latest release of 11. With Beta 1, 2, and 3 my laptop had by default 1280x800 resolution and a wireless card that worked with Ath5k. However, on the latest release I had to change to VESA to have 1280x800 and I don't even know where to go to get the Ath5k driver for my NIC card. So if something changed, please let me know so I an try to fix it with ease. I've always used the gnome livecd.

Thanks.

Did your Ath5k work with the gnome livecd ? I suspect not.

I think this card needs the madwifi driver, based upon this site:
http://madwifi.org/wiki/About/ath5k

Madwifi help for opensuse can be found here:
http://en.opensuse.org/Atheros_madwifi

You will have to modify the URLs mentioned, to find 11.0 rpms ... ie
Code:
http://madwifi.org/suse/11.0/
Good luck ....
