Hey, Guys

I installed opensuse 11 rc kde4 on my test laptop. It is working almost perfect as release version. However I can not save the settings for konsole. For example I want to hide the tab bar and menu bar, so I uncheck the options in "editing current profile" and close konsole. When I open it again, it turns back to the default settings.

How can I save konsole settings? Is this a bug?

Thanks,

I can confirm this issue as well. I was just about to enter a forum tred here abou it when I saw your post. It does not take my changes either, nor does it keep different color schemes. I will file a bug report against it i suppose.

You're right, I never noticed!

I created a new profile (seeing as there were none at all!), saved it, and it seems to work.

ok, its then not my installation problem.

My colleague who upgraded from alpha-beta-rc has no problem on saving the settings of konsole. So I thought there was something wrong on my installation with live CD.

Have you searched for the bug and if it is not reported, did you start one?

I did not find any related bugs in bugzilla basing on my search. I could not file a bug to bugzilla using my account for some reason. If possible, could you guys just file it. Or may be this is not a bug at all.
