openSUSE 11 RC1

The DVD starts, but plays one or 2 frames then simply stops. If I move the slider bar it starts up again for a fraction of a second then stops again.

The DVDs are legal, not copies and they play perfectly under 10.3.

I tried Kaffeine and also VLC (the latest beta version).

The only thing I can think of is that something (I forget where) informed me that the DVD drive wasn't using DMA mode (I think).

Anyone else experiencing this?
