This is my partition layout:
-- /dev/sda1: Windows NTFS /dev/sda2: Extended partition containing /dev/sda5 and /dev/sda6 /dev/sda5: Ubuntu ext3 /dev/sda6: Ubuntu swap There is no free space of any significant size -- I wanted to shrink my NTFS partition by about 15GB and let Opensuse only use that space. The built-in partitioner will allow me to do this. However, the summary of what it 'plans' to do includes deleting /dev/sda5. No buttons I can see will allow me to not do this. It seems to want to use the NTFS-freed space AND my former /dev/sda5 and /dev/sda6 for its root and /home partitions. How can I instruct it to ONLY use the space freed by the shrinking of my NTFS partition? |
