Opensuse 11 B3

Hi, I have installed kmymoney financial package thru YaSt. I also created a new folder named Kmoney in my home directory. Then I transfered a copy of my Kmymoney data file to this folder.from my openSUSE 10.3 which I have on a separate partition. Now when I try to open the data file by Kmymoney, I get the error message "file not found", depite selecting the file and clicking on it from within the Kmymoney.
BTW, this same set up works fine in open SUSE 10.3.
Am I doing anything wrong here? Any suggestions?
