I downloaded the KDE4 live CD recently(beta 3), and decided I want to stick with 3.5.9 for now. Since I don't want to go through all of the updating and upgrading a new 10.3 install to 11, does anyone know where I can download a live CD image of the current version(11 3.5.9)? The downloads page only lists KDE4 and Gnome. I had read somewhere that the DVD was supposed to have the 3.5.9 install option. I may have to wait for it to go final?

So is it then that you just don't want to use the Beta-11.0 DVD to install 3.5.9?

I do want 11 KDE 3.5.9. I just didn't want to download the whole 4GB DVD version while it was still beta to get it. I was wanting to just download an 11 KDE 3.5.9 live CD, but can't find an image. I will buy and install 11 KDE 3.5.9 with the DVD version when it goes final. I am just wanting to test it out right now.

highlight them; then, down at the bottom turn on refresh Now go to "Software Management" > Filter > Patterns select KDE3 If you have no pattern icons, add http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/...enSUSE_Factory/ as a yast-source as above; select it as a repro in the filter; update those in blue in the right window then go back to "Software Management" > Filter > Patterns select KDE3 You will have to logout; select KDE3 in the context menu; log back in. |
