10.0 beta1 freeze

First off, hello since i'm new to this forum.

I downloaded the 64 bit 10.0 beta 1 from opensuse.org the other day and tried to install.
The installer does fine until i get to the Grub installation at which point it freezes.
Has anyone tried Beta1? I'm curious what could be the issue.

System specs:
HP a1130n
250 gig SATA
120 gig WD usb drive
AMD 64 3500+
1 gig ram
ATI Radeon X300DE

Mine freezes over but once it has gone through the installation. It will suddenly kill firefox or freeze without any particular action that triggers the event. I am using the 64-bit version of the 10.0 rc1 of opensuse

My machine is:
eMachines T3104
AMD Sempron 3100
100 GB Drive
512 MB ram

Did both of you run "Media Check" prior to installing?

Recommend you get RC1 version & go from there. Betas are prone to crash!
Suse10 is out tomorrow.
