I just download openSUSE 10.3 and burn it as iso image and try to use it as LIVE CD.Till to here everything is working fine.
When i try to connect to internet. The cad didnot detect any wireless network.
I try to search somewhere around in the Yast2(I am new to openSUSE,currently using ubuntu7.10).I open Yast2 and point to network devices. And then click on network card. There it shows that card is installed.
RaLink RT2500 802.11g Cardbus/mini-PCI and there its IP is not configured.
Then i went to see the hardware information, that either my card is installed OR NOT,but there it shows that card is inatlled and working.
Its working fine in ubuntu7.10 without changing anything.I tried Ubuntu8.04 and the same issue there.Dunno whats the problem.
Any help will be appreciated,i heard that openSUSE community is more helpful than ubuntu.
I am currently using LIVE CD.
Another from where can i install and uninstall my softwares and how to install LAMP.Any source like synaptic to install directly.

Thanks

if you are using a livecd, you won't get wireless working until you install SuSE,as you will need drivers for the card

thanks for the suggestion.
Can u be more specific about my card.
I mean how to install, either i have to use windows drivers like .inf to install.
OR any other method to follow.

Actually SUSE detect the card and shows in network manager and no wireless network there.
If i try to put manually a wireless network in the create new network.it doesn't connect to that network.
Shows 0% signal and not getting signals at all.
Is this issue of driver.

Thanks in advance.
