If we want to connect to the internet by a wifi card.
In Ubuntu 7.10 the wifi is automtatic installed. Why is it not installed or in use in OpenSuse? It does not matter why, If it works in OpenSuse. I have a wifi card from icidu and it is a wfi 802.11G I can not connect the internet with openSuse, with this wifi card. So i use ubuntu and it works. But I realy want OpenSuse with wifi G. note that i want a real linux install wifi and not a tool for windows drivers. Please help and Thanks you all ! Teun my hobby website; www.Tovar.nl |

It's just lucky that it worked without any installation in Ubuntu. That doesn't often happen, not even in windows. Regarding Suse, some more information please:
The make and model of your wifi card and whether it's a usb card or a pci card. Also if you know how, please post the device ID of the card.
