Another 'how Do I Get My Wireless Internet To Work' Thread....

I have the module for my wireless card installed,Linux see's it,it tries to connect to it,but it wont? I have entered the correct password and everything?

My card is a BCM4306 Based card.

1 ) are you using ndiswrapper or bcm43xx or ralink drivers ?
2 ) which method of encryption are you using ?
3 ) try turning off your firewall,see if that helps
4 ) check there are no typo's in your password/passphrase
5 ) if using knetwork manager,try traditional ifup method

Thanks heaps! It was the fact i had it set to WEP 128 Bit Encyption,i changed it to WEP 64/128 Hex Encryption and it has worked.
