I just set up 10.3 x64 and cannot get my onboard gigabit nic to connect at gigabit speed. It is connected to a gigabit switch (same as my other computer in the room, which does connect at gigabit).

I notice that it is loading the sk98lin module instead of skge. Would that make any difference?

My system:
Asus A8V mobo (marvell yukon gigabit)
nvidia 6800gt
athlon64 x2 4200+
2gb ddr400
hauppauge pvr-150

Are you using cat6 or cat5e cable to connect?

Yep, it's gotta be the cable. I just hauled the pc upstairs and plugged it in (with a different cable which is cat 5e), looked at the network config and see 1000mbit!
