Not really sure of problem, but this might be worth a read:

Thanks man, you made a very good collection of HowTos.

Here is what worries me.

I have 512/64 kbps cable network internet connection and this download rate should enable 64 kBps of download.

Cause 512 / 8 = 64.

My Ktorrent downloads reach 50.5 maximum and speed is not constant, it's varying, and it's dropping to 5 kBps.

I asked my friend who has 1024/128 kbps about this.

He has double speed, which is normal, around 120 kBps BUT his torrent download speed is more and less constant, and it's always around his maximum.

Do you have any idea about this?

This is what I did:

1) Assigned static LAN address of my computer, on my computer configuration and on router both.

2) I port forwarded this ports on router: 6881:6999 TCP and 4444 UDP, cause these ports are used by torrent.

3) These ports are also set in Ktorrent.

Is there anything else???

Check the connection settings in terms of uploads, downloads and seeds etc in the GUI for Ktorrent at Ktorrent --> Settings --> Configure Ktorrent. Apart from that I can't think of anything extra that you should do.
