Hi,

I'm a newbie in the linux server's configuration and I speak a little english!

I installed and configured an OpenLDAP server with TLS/SSL enabled. In this case I use a common server certificate.

Now how to generate my own certificate?

In the GUI it seems to be easy! But how to generate Certificate File, Certificate Key File (Unencrypted?), CA certificate File?

Using openssl? So what command line used?

Thanks in advance

There are some tutes on the web. E.g.

http://unixsamurai.com/files/openldap.html

Openssl comes with some helper scripts, as you can see from the tute. You can also use a GUI frontend like tinyca2.
