Ldap And User Logins

hey! I'm using [url="http://www.openfiler.com/"]openfiler[/url to host a little music server were i live, and it uses Ldap to authenticate users. the problem is that when i boot my laptop and log in i cant get at the music (no ldap ). I have to first wait until knetworkmanager selects my wireless, and then log out and back in... I have no problems if i connect directly to the network (with cable). what makes this difference? is there a way to do this automatically(restart ldap client)... maybe every time knetworkmanager connects to a new network?
