Dear Friend,
I want to use SUSE for STARCD, but the problem is I cannot connect to the internet using SUSE linux, I am a trully beginner in using linux. But when I try to use another linux like mandriva and ubuntu, I can connect the internet with the same IP configuration. I am using two OS, the other OS is Windows XP 64 bit. The other strange thing is, after installing SUSE, I try to booting using Ubuntu dekstop by cd, and then after that I can connect the internet when I booting again using SUSE. BUt after restarting again directly to the SUSE, it wont connect to the internet. Do you know why is that? Kindly help me with this, thanks a lot regards |

Hello sakti, first post: welcome here.
Please clarify: Are you saying that if you boot to Suse after running windows on the same computer, you can't get internet? Are you suggesting there's a pattern involving using windows immediately before Suse? Swerdna |
