I have installed Suse 10.2 at my laptop and thus far I am really impressed with it. I have a strange porblem though; after each reboot I need to manually start up the internet through the Knetworkmanager. I tried several options in YaST control center -> network devices -> networkcard (Device activation: at boot time / on cable connection / On hotplug). And still I need to enable my wired connection after each reboot. Who knows how I can fix this?

Try using traditional if-up method and not knetworkmanager. This is set in YaST after you edit your network card.
