I am trying Suse (10.3) for first time; Have been using Fedora 7; where can I find a "user guide"? Have looked through wiki and news but could not find links; Is there much difference between F7 & Suse? Also could use glossary

Some openSUSE concepts (rather top level):
http://en.opensuse.org/Concepts

The 3 things in openSUSE that I greatly prefer over Fedora are:
a. YaST (the SUSE configuration tool);
b. Packman repositories rpms (yes ... Fedora has great repos too, but I find multimedia apps tend to show up sooner on SuSE's Packman);
c. KDE (the openSUSE implementation is very good);

... actually, there is a 4th. I think the openSUSE community, re the openSUSE forums (there are a few real good ones), and also the SUSE IRC channel are pretty good, in terms of the helpful nature of the contributors.
