I just wanted to know if Suse Linux 9.3 installed on hard drive boots forever like as long as it does on a Live DVD of Suse 9.3. If it does, then how can I make it boot up quicker when installed?? :unsure:

Hard drive performance is way superior to CD/DVD drive!

Hope that gives you some idea.

try checking your HDD's UDMA.

You can also remove any unwanted/unneeded services from startup.
