We are on freenode at #sls-support if that is what you needed. I think that was the only irc info we had.

Thanks....
My system went belly up. They gave me a new box, but I'm doing a complete re-install. So most of my data has gone.... |

kastorff,
As a rule I don't do Chat, but may want to use it in the future. What is the set-up? I've got the usual bunch of SuSE 9.2 options. Thanks in advance for your reply. Adler |

Adler, do you mean how to setup irc??
if so get an irc client, i like kvirc, on suse 9.1 disks.....when you load it find the 'freenode' group in the server list, hit connect when it has connected type Code:
/join #sls-support |

If you use x-chat (and you should because its eXtreme!) then Freenode is already in the list of default Networks and you can highlight it, hit the Edit button, and set x-chat to automatically connect to Freenode on startup and automatically join #sls-support.
