ever since I upgraded my video drivers, i'm not sure what else I did, but my SuSE 9.2 boots into CLI and not GUI, I checked to make sure that I am set to auto login, but it's still not working..... how do I get it to boot directly into kde?
I did switch runlevel to init 3 when I was installing the driver, could it be stuck in init 3? any ideals? Thanks |

Hi,
You'll need to switch back to runlevel 5. Robert |

Does "startx" get you into the GUI?
Whoops, Sorry,noestr. |

Make sure your inittab file says:
id:5:initdefault: This file is located in /etc. If you changed it to boot into init:3, then just change it back to 5.
