As far as I know,Konqueror won't display gmail yet.
I use Firefox for my gmail account. Do a search for tips to install Firefox and you should be up and running quickly. Hope this helps. |

Moreover, Firefox has a gmail notifier. You just have to install the extension for it and you will be noticed when new mail arrives.

Its Google that makes the decisions what browsers are compatible with GMail - tho you could install the Opera 8.0 beta which does work.
It's hardly KDE's fault, although the new Konqi in CVS is working with GMail |

x2805,
I'm using Firefox as my browser under 9.2 Pro, can view all my G-Mails, but use the POP server features that G-Mail offers. I use Evolution, which should be on your disks, to collect and save all my G-Mail. That way, I can keep eveything immediately avaible from my notebook without being on-line. And just log-on to the Internet, open Evolution and I collect my G-Mails. If you need further assistance just post again. Adler |
