I bought 9.2 upgrade and I am very happy I paid Novel for it. 9.2 looks very good to me. Works very well on my laptop and on three destops which I loaded it on to.

I had a couple of very minor niggles and even suspend to disk works!!!

Anyone else pleased? Or is there a happy thread that I missed.

I'm happy with 9.2 Pro so far. For what you spend this is an amazing software!

Plus, the support here.

Dose the wireless 2200bg work strait from the box or do you have to mess with the settings.

Wireless 2200bg? Note sure what that means exactly but the WiFi card on my Thinkpad laptop worked out of the box. It is 11b, I do not think it can do g.

culmore,

hello,

9.2 IMHO is the dog's doodads and I am ecstatic.

Now,is that suitably happy or what?

regards,

martin

P.S.Just amaroK was worth the price of admission.I've only got a pair of cheap Creative speakers hooked up.But the quality of sound whilst listening to streams is astoundingly good.I think it has something to do with the gstreamer engine.

While we're mentioning apps that are "worth the price of admission", for me it's the 64-bit versin of the Eclipse IDE for Java. The version that came with 9.1 was based on an older release and wasn't compatible with my JUnit tests from work. The version with 9.2 is updated. Much programming happiness here. (P.S. Yes I know any non-programmers probably don't know or care what I'm talking about.) SuperTux is really fun too!

My upgrade should arrive in a couple of days. I'm a timid upgrader, so I'm pleased with the positive feedback here.
I'm upgrading from 8.1 so I think it's going to be a big leap ahead! I've tried out a couple live distros that include KDE 3.3 and it seems miles ahead of KDE 3.0. B)

Now I can't wait for it to come!
