Hi,

Currently i have my whole SuSe 9.1 distribution on 1 harddisk.
I have another harddisk which i want to use for my home dir.

Can i just move my current home dir to the newly created harddisk partition (after mounting of course)?
And give this a (little) performance boost?

Thnx

1) i wouldnt recomend it. linux might not find it on the next boot.

2) it wont give you a performance boost.

performance has to do with services and the kernel compilation.
