Is there any way to make the "Windows" key open the Lizzard menu? or to make the "drop down menu" key work? I have not really done a whole lot of exploration on this topic, but because it doesn't work on any distro that I've tried I'm guessing that no one is addressing it?
Anyone out there have any ideas? Anyone have the skills to map the keys? |

I'd have to look into the key mapping but a workaround is ALT + F1 will bring up the K-menu.

I havn't tried it, (I use old AT Keytronix (spelling ?) type keyboard - I love the feel) but I have found this info in various forms on the net.
http://www.princessleia.com/Windowsbind.html and http://ldp.festy.org/HOWTO/Keyboard-and-Co...e-HOWTO-14.html good luck - tw |

Open the KDE Control Center > Regional & Accessibility > Keyboard Shortcuts. Click on the Command Shortcuts select the application you want to open and press the key combo to open it.
