Hi All
I've been advised to sut a topic here for you guys to discuss and hopefully find a solution. I'm trying to install newly burned 9.1 personal ISO on my laptop. Here are the specs: IBM ThinkPad A21m 10 Gb IBM hard drive ATI Rage M 4 Mb video P 3 - 700 310 Mb RAM After kernel loads and is ready to start YAST, the program says "Installation Error". I've been trying to identify how far the installation goes by pressing F2, but the screen quickly changes and i caanot see when it does stop. I've tried all installation methods available, but the result is the same. I've tried also to install the same CD on other laptop ans everything worked just fine. Please help. Thank you! |

You could try looking at Linux Laptops to see if anyone has come across a similar problem.
Also, have a look through the BIOS and play around with turning off the "Plug and Play OS" option. |
