I can't seem to locate a copy of 9.1 pro in Virginia. Bestbuy says they will have it on the 25th, Micro Center and Compusa said....you're looking for what? I guess I need to order it online off the Suse store because Amazon is now taking 1-2 weeks to ship.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

I asked the local best buy store if they were going to carry it and they asked me what it was? I would also like to know how long until we can buy it off a shelf.

I'm not surprised at either of these replies from either of these companies. You would think they would hire some store managers that would train their geekish employees what SuSE (or even Linux as a whole for that matter) is.

I feel lucky then...the guys at the CompUSA by me (that I used to work at) know what it is but don't have it in stock yet.

I ordered mine from the SuSe Store on Monday, and it is scheduled to be delivered to my door by UPS today! I was very impressed with the 9.1 live CD, and can't wait to install 9.1!

Thanks! The install was very smooth, and I am very impressed with the OS! I am delighted at how fast it boots from the hard drive, and how easy it is to configure and update! Very impressive OS!

I did post a question in another thread regarding whether or not SuSe 9.1 comes with an ftp client, as I could not locate it, if it does.

RevJack: Suse 9.1 should come with Kbear which is a graphical FTP client for KDE.

9.1 finally hit the CompUSA by me (outside of NYC).
