Hello everyone,

I am a rookie in linux, I boutght a hosted root server and they gave it to me with Suse 10.2. Using yast I updated all packages and I said why not upgrade the kernel too. So from inside yast I upgraded the kernel and rebooted. Then the server was not accessible anymore by ip so I figured something is wrong.

I logged into serial console but couldnt mount anything. I guess there is a raid format because fdisk -l spits the following:
/dev/sda1
/dev/sda2
/dev/sda4
...
/dev/sda8

and

/dev/sdb1
/dev/sdb2
/dev/sdb4
...
/dev/sdb8

But when trying to mount /dev/sda1 /mnt I get "already mounted or busy", dunno what's wrong.

Any help guys?

Thanks,
-soso
