I'm trying to install SuSE 10.3 on a 3ware 9500S-4LP SATA RAID card setup in a RAID 0 configuration.

SuSE hangs on "Drivers 3w_9xxx". I thought that the 9500S was supported in the kernal and there would be no problems using it as a boot device? This is really the setup I want to run and would rather not install SuSE on to another drive.

My System:
2x 2.4GHx Xeon
4GB ECC Buffered Memory
4x 320GB SATA attached to the 9500S.

The other thing I found out is the only way to get the thing past the "Loading basic drivers" was to add "mem=2048m" to the boot options. Any idea why this is?

Thanks in advance!
