Hi all,

I just purchase d a Maya EX5 Audiotrak external sound card that uses USB (the sound card in my laptop is a little c***). I chose the Audiotrak series as I knew that ALSA supported it fully and sure enough as I plugged it into my computer, the drivers installed automatically. After going to Control Center>Sound>, I change the sound playback to USB Audio. Pressing 'test' gives a beep from the speakers hooked up to the USB sound card. All programs though (such as Amarok and Firefox) do not give sound through the USB audio sound card but instead just choose my laptop speakers. How do I change it so that the sound only plays through the USB card when it's connected?

thanks in advance,
Vertigel
