I just installed SUSE 10.1 on my toughbook and as soon as it hits the os my mouse just starts going haywire and clicking and opening things and I can not take control to stop it or adjust settings. What is my next step?

Thats a beautiful machine you got there! Just curious, where did you get that? I know that only US government officials get those, and they don't sell them to just anyone. I tried when I was leaving the service, I asked if I could purchase a used and/or broken one, but I always got the no-go!

I remember my beautiful tough book that I used when in the US Army Intelligence Corps. Which was standard issue.

Oh sorry, about your issue, but first try attaching a usb mouse then try Ktouch. B)
