HP 2133 comes with SLED 10 pre-installed. This is a great news. Anyone has any personal experience? Thanks.

I have no experience with an HP2133 nor with SLED10.

BUT, if it were me, I would make a backup copy (printed and electronic on a memory stick) of important functional configuration files, and replace it with openSUSE-10.3. You will find far more 3rd party packaged applications for openSUSE-10.3 than you will for SLED-10.

Files to backup include:
/boot/grub/menu.lst
/etc/fstab
/etc/X11/xorg.conf
/etc/modprobe.d/sound
/home/username data files, including bookmarks.html for your browser.

The idea behind having the "backups" is if you have problems configuring 10.3, you can take a look at the 10.0 configuration files, using them as a reference where appropriate.

Thanks for the great advice. The HP 2133 has a built-in webcam. I suppose it should work in SLED 10, but how do I make sure that I can use it in 10.3? Thanks again.
