Just picked up a matrox tripleheadtogo, from some reading, it does support / work with suse. One of the 1st steps is for the autodetect under nvidia-settings. But, when I run nvidia-settings, I get;
"You do not appear to be using the NIVIDIA X driver.
Please edit you X configuration file (just run nvidia-xconfig as root), and restart the X server.

Well I have, and actually thouht I was using it. On boot, right before the login window, I get the nice fullscreen NVIDIA logo. The card is a GeForce 8400

Not sure what I can provide, but an rpm -qa shows;
nvidia-gfxG01-kmp-default-169.12_2.6.22.17_0.1-0.1
nvidia-gfxG01-kmp-bigsmp-169.12_2.6.22.17_0.1-0.1
x11-video-nvidiaG01-169.12-0.1

Thanks.
