Hi all!

My name is Lucas and I just jumped into the linux world few days ago (openSuse 10.3). I have a Toshiba P200 custom laptop and I'm having problems trying to get the keyboard to an international layout (US-Intl). I have tried lot of configurations in Yast and Personal settings -> regional & accessibility -> keyboard layout. The problem is that when I activate the intl. layout some keys stop responding (for example ENTER on key-pad, HOME, END, DEL, PGUP, PGDN and the directional arrows) Only the UP directional arrow works but... it has a shortcut to KSnapshot! (?) So when I press UP, I take a picture of my screen  ??

I also tried to configure a secondary layout with some activation key... but every time I do it, everything goes wrong again. I restarted 1000 times, tried on GNOME, KDE3, 4... but all are the same.

Has someone had the same problem? How can I solve this? Is it a common one? I already looked up the forum and other sources but I got nothing like this.

If some one can give me some clue I will be very glad!

thanks a lot!

Lucas
