Display Problem Nvidia Card And Compaq Laptop

This is really killing me. I am trying to get resolution of 1440x900 in my laptop. Now when I try Sax2 it never works it always gives me squeezed display. I even installed Nvidia driver for openSUSE 10.3. It boosted my resolution up to 1900x1200.

I get 3D support and everything but I was not able to decrease the resolution; there is only 1900x1200 as an option. I know I can have 1400x900 resolution because I am running same resolution under Windows.

1900x1200 is not good for my eyes.


Please help me out.
