I have spent quite a bit of time setting up the Alps touchpad on a Dell Inspiron 600m with OpenSuse 10.3. I have edited xorg.conf, used the ksynaptics utility, and the mouse settings in Control Center. I have got it set pretty good, but it is still "herky jerky" compared to when I boot into Windows XP and use it. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi, I recently bought Presario C700 and installed Suse 10.3. Great OS as compared to Vista (Preinstalled). All works fine but the ALPS tocuhpad. Its too sensitive. I tried configuring it using desktop configuration utility but did not help much. Single/double click both are too sensitive. What should i do to fix it?
