Hello folks,

I hope this the right place for this post
Its been 13 days since I switched from M$. Yey! I realised the only reason I needed to use MS Windows was for earning a living (c#). Well got VirtualBox running MS Server2008. Basically everything is setup. I'm a wee bit too excited above the switch so I thought let me share mi joy!

Anyway, my problem is new app windows in my KDE desktop keep appearing beyond the top screen space. I have to keep dragging them down. Maximizing them adjusts the position properly.

I tried configuring the monitor with Sax2 but that didn't. Come to think of it, Sax2 keeps tellling me that my 3d subsystem doesn't support 3D acceleration  even though i've installed nvidia drivers properly.

Respect!

If your drivers are installed properly, run this:

Code:
nvidia-settings
The Nvidia applet *should* come up. Go ahead and confirm under driver information that your are indeed running the nvidia driver. I kind of doubt you are if you are not getting any 3d acceleration.
