Hi everyone:

I'm trying to sync a Palm device (actually a Clie TJ25) under openSUSE 10.3 using KPilot. I've followed the instructions from various SUSE- and non-SUSE-related websites, but it's still not sync'ing. Can anyone help?

Also, can anyone tell me how to add the visor module for good (so that I don't have to type in 'modprobe visor' everytime I use KPilot?)

---------
What I've done so far:

(1) added the visor module to the kernel using su + modprobe visor.

(2) created a text file "10-custom.rules" in /etc/udev/rules.d containing the text:

BUS="usb", SYSFS{product}="Palm Handheld*", KERNEL="ttyUSB*", SYMLINK="pilot"

(3) local settings in kpilot (General Setup > Device):
Pilot device: dev/pilot
Speed: 57600
Workaround: none
Encoding: Japanese (sjis) (My Clie is running the Japanese PalmOS).
