I did an fresh install off Suse 10.1. Unfortunately Suse sets my Via8237 as the default sound card (which I have disabled in my bios) I would like to use my Audigy2 card instead as the default sound card. How can I achieve this? Thanks in advance!

Go into YaST -> Hardware -> Sound Card and delete and redetect sound cards as necessary to make Audigy the first or only sound device.

Edit
Solved by doing as root "alsaconf'. (sometimes I get so spoiled by Suse that I forget the manual way
