I installed icecast and kafeine-gstreamer and they do not show anywhere in my menu.I am looking for a radio stream player ,what should I use.

If you installed them as suse rpm packages, they generally install with menu entries, but this is not always the case if you compiled / installed from tar.gz file. These are not necessarily designed specifically for a particular distro. It pays to read the readme files usually included with the software.

For Icecast, it is a commandline program, that can be started by typing 'icecast -c icecast.xml' from within a terminal. I am not familiar with this application, so can't offer advice concerning it, and suggest you read the link provided.

Try RealPlayer for Linux.

Alternatively, Amarok can do this.
