In the case of openSUSE-10.3, RealPlayer-10.0.9-11 comes with openSUSE-10.3. Are you certain its not installed on your PC already?

What does:
<span style="font-family:Courier New">rpm -qa | grep Real </span>
give you? Note that is case sensitive.
