As previous posters said, use a 800MB CD or a DVD.
$ bc -q 774356992/2048 378104 Limit of 700MB CD is just under 360,000 blocks. |

Wasn't this one of the annoying bugs? CD image too big for a normal CD. Workaround: burn to a DVD medium, that does no good if your target system does not have a dvd reader.
This issue should be fixed with Beta2 afaik. -Wj edit: added the notes for the liveCD Most Annoying Bugs openSUSE 11 Beta 1 Live-CD * x86_64 live CDs do not fit on 700MB, need to be tested with DVD-R * Asks you to type the kernel name (on the boot prompt) which fails, just press <return> * Live-CD does not start X in VirtualBox (Bug #374710) Workaround: Log in as root, run “sax2 -m 0=vesa” then “rcxdm restart” * Live-CD installer does not work (Bug #377565, Bug #381153) |
