How do I run a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit OS? Flash doesn't work in 64-bit, unfortunately. Thanks!

Uninstall the 64 bit Firefox first. Then install the 32 bit version. For that, use Yast in which the software repositories set (you will need perhaps 1-3 repositories). Search for Firefox, and on the lower right side open the tab of versions. Select the 32 bit, latest version.
Switching to 32 bit Firefox is the right decision. |

I ran 64bit firefox for some time, and I have enough of nspluginwrapper. I changed to 32bit firefox and it's not the ultimate solution. I'm using mplayer-plugin and there is no way (dependencies h***) to use 32bit mplayer / smplayer / mplayer-plugin on 64bit system Looks like I'm after a year or so switching back to 32bit suse when opensuse 11 comes .. ![]() |

Hmm, my Firefox says it's x86_64 and I'm viewing Flash (when I choose do, I have the Flashblock add-on installed) just fine. Didn't bother with the Java plugin though.
