Hi folks just reinstalled opensuse 10.3 64bit after windows annoyed me once more lol, noticed a few changes which are good, the trouble I am having is when I try to change the resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 in sax2 after running sax2 -r, and reboot it stays the same? I did the 1 click install of the nvidia drivers the splash screen appears, I seem to have 3d accel, if I do a right click (yea I know WINDOWS nerd) to change the resolution in the display box it says "your x server is using the randr extension at version 1.2 or greater which doesn't have any configuration yet" this has me completely confoosed! Any one else get this? Thanks in advance for any help I would just like to be able to see c*** in my browser without having to scroll everything

I am getting this same problem, I haven't installed any extras of the nvidia drivers or anything, just installed opensuse (I am a newbie).

My resolution is quite large, and I have no idea how to make it smaller, since it says there is no configuration for the RandR extension, is there anyway around this? Something I can type into the terminal or anything?

Any help is appreciated.

use your nvidia x server settings launcher from the menu
